Medion, who provides computers to discount supermarkets Aldi and Lidl, is selling the Akoya PC36888 - a chubby home entertainment PC - with a Blu-ray drive which costs around £500 alone.
The rest of the computer's specification is not that bad: It runs with an Intel Quad core processor, 3GB memory, 1TB hard disk drive and a Geforce 9300GS graphic card.
If that was not enough, Medion managed to throw in a Hybrid TV Tuner, a card reader and Windows Vista Home Premium plus a combination of trialware and other Microsoft applications.
The PC will be available for sale at Tesco Direct Online, Tesco extra and Tesco Homeplus stores across the country.
Mind you though, you might swap the PC for a Blu-ray Enabled laptop at PC World (The Dell 1525) and still get some change left.
