BBC iPlayer keeps favourite shows for longer, adds Series Stacking
Facebook
If you have missed any episode of your favourite show on BBC’s online series, then there isn’t much to worry about, as BBC has announced ‘series stacking’ services, scheduling to start somewhere in mid September, which allows its users to watch any episode from its online series, running through iPlayer.

As of now, the iPlayer allows users to watch the programmes of last seven days, but the ‘series stacking’ feature has stretched the limit to twenty-eight days after the original telecast date of the show.

Initially, the service would be available with the streamed programmes on the iPlayer only, and it would apparently be extended to downloaded applications from BBC’s website, as well as, the Virgin Media version of the iPlayer thereafter.

Simon Nelson from BBC has stated that the service would help the iPlayer viewers in watching their favourite programmes whenever and wherever they wish to; “Series Stacking really make the unmissable, unmissable”, he added.
